So, here are some pics of the belabored cowls for all to enjoy, and for those lucky cowl recipients some guidelines in case you still aren't sure how to put it on.
Merry Christmas
jenny's double mobius rib knit
jeff's double button cable knit
nicole's anthropology inspired mini-tuck
(my first ever attempt at fair-isle knitting)
ashley's wrap around slip stitch
andrew's crochet polka dot with wooden button
(the button gets billing because it cost more than the yarn!)
mandy's loose polka crochet wrap around
and finally, honey bee's treetop snug
which is your favorite?

ps
thanks to leslie for modeling and to laura for giving me the cowl that started it all

I love them all-- do I have to decide?? The treetop snug was so soft, and the double button cable knit was super cozy. I also love the stitch on the loose polka. :) They are all awesome! Teach me your skillz!
I am a cowl man now! I feel stupid that I didn't understand at first, but I love my cowl! You rock for being ontop of the trend (mine is the coolest one out of all the ones you made . . . shhhhhh).
Erin, I don't know what to say. I'm a little jealous of your AMAZING skills! It's bringing out a little of the competitiveness (is that a word????) in me... remember 12th grade? I LOVED the cowls! Did I say I'd never heard of a cowl before? I gotta get me one!
WOw, Erin, you are amazing, really, my best sister EVER!!! I"m super excited to wear this thing for real. Check out what we did with it before we knew what it was: http://theseedlady.blogspot.com/2011/01/mystery-gift.html
